What our certificates mean
VIS Mountain’s certificates are our own training standard. Here is what they show, what they don’t, and who has to hold them.
Official for us. Not accredited.
Our certificates come from VIS Mountain’s in-house training program: the courses, quizzes and certificates in The Blueprint, our training platform. It is official at VIS Mountain. It’s the baseline every member of our team trains to, and the standard we hold our delivery partners to. It is not a school, it is not accredited, and its certificates are not degrees, licenses or certifications from the companies whose tools we teach.
What a certificate means
- The person finished a Blueprint course and passed its quiz with 80% or more, on the date shown.
- An Advanced certificate also means a VIS Mountain reviewer checked their hands-on work against the course’s published checklist.
- It is valid for one year from the day it was issued. In the last 30 days, the holder can pass the quiz again to renew it.
- Anyone can check it, live, with the ID printed on it: certifications.vismountain.com/verify. The check shows whether it is valid, expired or revoked.
- It reflects the course as it was on that date. Platforms and rules change, which is why certificates expire.
What it doesn’t mean
- It is not a degree, diploma, academic credit or continuing-education credit.
- It is not accredited or approved by any accrediting body, school or government agency.
- It is not a professional license and doesn’t allow anyone to practice a licensed profession.
- It is not a certification from, or endorsed by, Google, Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic or any other company whose products a course covers. Those companies run their own programs. For example, Meta’s is called Meta Blueprint, and it has nothing to do with ours.
- It is not proof that a person or organization complies with HIPAA, privacy law, advertising rules or any other law. Compliance depends on what an organization actually does.
- It is not a guarantee of anyone’s work, results or rankings.
Why we hold ourselves to it
Every person at VIS Mountain learns the same way of doing the work. That means the same checklists, the same rules for patient privacy, ads and AI, and the same official sources. Each guide links to the official pages it relies on and shows the date it was last checked. When a platform or a rule changes, we update the guide and its quiz. Certificates expire, so people keep up.
The standard for white-label and delivery partners
A delivery partner is any agency, contractor or freelancer that does work for VIS Mountain, or for our clients under our name. If that’s you, the standard applies to your whole team, not just the person who manages the account.
- Everyone, before access. Each person who works on VIS Mountain accounts must hold a valid certificate in every required course before they get access to client accounts, files or tools. That includes new people you add later.
- Keep it current. Renew before a certificate expires. If one expires or is revoked, that person’s access pauses until they renew.
- We check. We verify certificates by their ID, and we may ask for a list of the people who work on our accounts.
- Your agreement still applies. Certificates don’t replace your contract with us. Confidentiality, data handling and any business associate agreement in it still apply.
Required for everyone
Also required, depending on the work
The industry course for each type of client you work on:
- Dental marketing
- Urgent & primary care marketing
- Med spa, aesthetics & weight-loss marketing
- Roofing & home services marketing
- Eye care marketing
If you build or run client websites, apps, hosting or data:
Your VIS Mountain contact sets your agency up in The Blueprint and confirms your required list. Each person then sees their required courses and where they stand on their Blueprint home, and your owners and managers see the whole team. We may add courses to the list, and we’ll tell you before we do.
Taking courses and quizzes honestly
- Take every quiz yourself, signed in as yourself. Don’t share sign-ins or quiz answers, and don’t have another person or an AI tool take a quiz for you.
- The name on a certificate must be your real name.
- VIS Mountain may revoke a certificate that was earned dishonestly or issued by mistake. A revoked certificate shows as revoked to anyone who checks it.
Privacy
- Anyone with a certificate ID can see the name on it, the course, the dates and whether it is valid.
- Your certificates appear in the public list of holders only if you choose that. You can change it at any time.
- Your progress, points and quiz attempts are never public. Points and levels show on leaderboards inside The Blueprint, which only signed-in people can see, and the people who run your program can see your progress.
Changes and questions
We update courses and quizzes when the platforms and rules they cover change, and we may update this policy. Questions about a certificate? Contact VIS Mountain.
